As long as you are logged in, you may claim credit for other CME activities on the website. To logout of myCME choose the "logout" link on the top right of the screen. Our system will automatically log you out if it detects a period of inactivity on any web page.
This page displays your most recent activities. At the top you will see the total records, which is the number of activities in which you have participated. You can sort by participation date, activity type, and amount of credits claimed. To do so click one of the up or down arrows in each column. You may also scroll through the listings by choosing "Prev" or "Next" and jump to the end or beginning of the set by choosing "First" and "Last". This screen also allows you to reprint a copy of your certificate. Just click on the participation date of the activity you wish to reprint. (more below)
If you are an attendee of Regularly Scheduled Series/Live Events at the Cleveland Clinic or Cleveland Clinic Health System, you may use the box at the bottom of the page to enter your course code. This course code will be found in your printed material at each meeting. Choose "Submit" to register for this course. After you have completed your evaluation and obtained your certificate, the activity will display in your "Recent Activities" table. You can reprint a certificate by clicking on the participation date.
To the side you will see a list of Upcoming CME activities offered by the Cleveland Clinic Center for Continuing Education. Choose one of these items to learn more or register for the event.
To reprint a certificate choose HOME and find the "Recent Activities" table. Once you have found the course you wish to reprint, choose the participation title. This will open the certificate in a new window. Then choose "Print".
If you have a name or title change and you need this to display on your certificate, you can do this very easily by editing your profile. (See above). Once you make the necessary profile changes, all future certificates will be updated with the new information. Historical certificates will not change.
On the Initial Login Screen choose "Click here if you forgot your password". You will see a box to enter in your email address. After clicking "Retrieve Password" your password will be sent to your email address. Note: The email address you enter must match the email you used to create your initial profile. If you enter an alternative email you will get an error message stating "Sorry, but a password could not be found for the email you entered". Continuing Medical Education (CME) is defined as “educational activities that serve to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that a physician or other medical professional use to provide services for patients, the public, or the profession” (source: ACCME and AMA).
AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ is the most common type of credit physicians need for medical license maintenance. In order for an activity to be designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit, it must be planned by an accredited CME provider.
